Introducing a luxurious family home situated on Sutton Coldfield's exclusive Four Oaks Estate - a project that seamlessly combines timeless elegance with a welcoming touch.
The clients sought a grand showpiece, and we collaborated closely with them, examining the architect’s plans to tailor the design to their needs. The property, situated in a conservation area, required us to preserve the frontage while adding a side extension and completely redesigning the back. The result is a remarkable transformation, with a classic yet inviting ambience that reflects the family’s lifestyle and aspirations.
A highlight of our bespoke design is the kitchen, featuring high-gloss, double-beaded doors and a meticulously crafted lighting scheme that defines distinct zones, including the seating area. The family sitting room, exuding a subtle masculine feel, boasts a sleek television and a custom fireplace designed by our studio. To enhance the sense of space, we recommended removing a wall and seamlessly transforming the separate dining room into an open entrance hall and dining area. As a result, the curved staircase, adorned with high-gloss finishes, marble treads, and a champagne gold balustrade, has become a stunning focal point.
Lighting plays a pivotal role in this project, particularly in the main entrance hall, where we created a stunning chandelier effect using multiple pendants at varying heights. In the formal lounge, meticulous consideration was given to furniture placement and lighting, resulting in distinct zones that foster a formal, TV-free environment. Tray ceilings with spotlights, recessed curtain tracks, and elegant wall lights set into silk vinyl wallpaper with delicate mouldings contribute to the sophisticated atmosphere. The end result is an elegant space perfect for relaxation and refined gatherings. Every aspect of this residence has been meticulously considered and thoughtfully executed to create an unparalleled living experience.
